About 'KKM'
'KKM' = Karate Kanji Madness.
This website and blog are being developed to be fun, silly, and at the same time to be both educational and entertaining!
Its primary focus is on 'kanji' typically found in karate environments (Note: kanji is a system of Japanese writing that adopted and modified Chinese characters).
The intent of 'KKM' is to make 'karate related kanji' more recognizable to students (and instructors).
Visual mnemonics are used to create images that are intended to be remembered and associated with martial arts writing found in dojos, on uniforms, in books, manuals, training materials, videos, etc.

The mission of KKM is simply to develop training materials that promote educational learning within the martial arts world. The intent of KKM is to provide visual products that will help bridge the language gap and create positive memories and associations for students and instructors
